While it may be tempting to apply a generous amount, be cautious not to overdo it, as an excess can leave your beard excessively soft but greasy. Our carefully curated blends feature the finest oils, requiring only a few drops to achieve the magnificent beard you desire. Exercise restraint and follow this rough guide:
- Stubble: 1-2 drops
- Short beard: 3-4 drops
- Longer beard: 4-6 drops
- Large beard: 7-8 drops

Smells amazing and IS amazing, like all Mariners Jacks products
First picked up some Mariner Jack beard oil from a small shop in Whitby and was absolutely gutted when I ran out. Bought myself some more oil and a tin of balm recently and honestly, one of the best beard products I’ve ever used. I’ve been through my fair share of lotions and potions for the old facial furniture, but I can confidently say that Mariner Jack beat far more expensive brands in terms of scent and quality. I went with Privateer which is a classic vanilla and tobacco, but I’ve got my eye on a good few more of their products for procurement in the future. So glad I took a punt on their stuff when I saw it, I’ll definitely be a recurring customer.
Having tried a previous scent and loved it, I was hesitant to try another (what if it's not as good?). As soon as I smelt this I wanted to put it on. In fact now I regret not ordering more of it. I am so pleased with it. On the functional side, I suffer a lot from beadruff if I go a couple of days without treating it with something. Using this every day keeps my beard feeling soft but also my skin is much healthier. Highly recommended (but don't buy too much as I would like to buy more)
