Privateer is slow and deliberate. Tobacco comes first, dry and warm, then vanilla builds underneath it into something richer and more complex than either note would be alone. It doesn't announce itself. It settles in and stays there. The kind of scent you notice on someone else and can't quite place until they tell you.
It's been in the collection for years and it consistently earns some of our most enthusiastic reviews. One customer told us he'd buy it for a desert island. We took that as a compliment.
The base is organic cold-pressed argan oil, sweet almond oil and golden jojoba oil. Argan conditions and softens. Sweet almond moisturises and soothes the skin underneath. Jojoba absorbs fast and never leaves your beard feeling heavy or greasy. The same three oils run through every Mariner Jack product because they work, and we've never found a reason to replace them.
Privateer suits cooler months particularly well, though more than a few customers wear it year round and we understand why.
