Frankincense provides a base of lemon toned, aromatic sweetness. Delicately blended with an earthy and fiery spice from black pepper, both are rounded off with delicate ylang's rich and sweet, almost jasmine like undertones.
Beard wax is firmer than our popular beard balms. This is definitely more of a styling aid on those hot and humid days, or those days we all have when your beard is just not playing ball.
To use, simply scrape a little product out of the tin with a thumb nail or the provided Mariner Jack scraper and warm between the fingers. Either smooth over you palms and work through the beard, or between your fingers to apply to a moustache. Best used with either Mariner Jack beard oil or balm of your choice to condition the hair too.

As always, the BEST!
Having never bought any of this Product (Mariner Jack) before I was full of expectation going by some of the reviews I`d read about it .
Upon receiving the tin , right from the off I found the small very thin Tin hard to open. on the bottom half of the 11mm thin tin It lacked a small finger nail protrusion to grip the bottom part of the tin, and there was nothing I could hold one side down from the other side when trying to part the tin to open it ,and I struggled for a good 5 minutes to get it to budge. A tin shouldn`t take that long to open, and even opening & shutting it attempts to loosen it up failed to make it any easier to open
The next disappointment was the consistency of the wax . Its was quite hard and even letting it sit in the palm of my hands for a minute or more kneading it continually made very little affect on bringing it to a workable consistency to enable me to apply it to my 5 "- 6 "long beard well enough to shape my beard. It dragged on my beard hair and just caused a matted look.
I was hoping it would have been a thinner consistency to what it was . I needed a wax thicker than beard Oil and more of a treacle consistency but it was more like a hard candle wax .
I even resorted to trying to thin it down by putting some on the palm of my hand and giving it a wafting over with my partners hair dryer on a hot setting to melt it down but even when I did that it wouldn`t run soft enough to use it to the effect I wanted it to be.
So ! all in all it didn`t suit my 5" -6" long beard to enable me to bring my beard into a tidy manageable condition. as i`d hoped it would.
I think this type of " BEARD wax" is only suitable for moustaches to form them into a shape because for a beard of over 5" long its not something I personally would recommend using as its just not the right consistency to enable this to apply .
I have to add, I Emailed all this to Mariner Jack to which I was disappointed that I didn`t receive any reply for some reason or another .
I have to mention I have given my truthful and honest opinion on this product which sadly ended up for my use ,a big disappointment .
A great product with a great smell. I had a query about whether I could buy a sample of each product and emailed the owners. They were very helpful and friendly. I like to spend my money with people And companies who are nice appreciative and these guys are. Don’t hesitate when buying. I wasn’t disappointed.
